National Girls Ministries
Missionettes
This
has been a very challenging year for Rainbows and Girls’ groups. At the end of
the 2010-11 season, Jennifer Weaver left her position as coordinator. We thank
her for her service! At that point however, we were down to just a few club
mentors including myself, Ryann Norton and Ebonie Jordan. I took on the
position of coordinator without any experience and have made the best of it.
Instead of having the groups stall, we have done a modified program until we
can get a chance to be trained. Parents have been very accommodating and I am
working with folks individually to keep kids on track with the program.
I have some WONDERFUL ladies helping: Miss
Jerene Robinson, Miss Ryann Norton, Miss Sherilyn Creighton and Miss Terry Case.
Miss Ebonie Jordan is a senior in high school and has tried to help out—bless
her heart, but has had too many things on her plate. Our wish is for her to
enjoy her senior year! All have a great “can do” attitude and have really
improvised with me to make our Wednesday evenings fun for the kids. However, I
would really like to see a proper coordinator so we can do what we love—mentor
the kids!
God
bless you all!
