Pregnancy Care Clinic

Building Hope and Sharing Christian Love
in Word and Deed.

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be."
Psalm 139:13-16

About the Pregnancy Care Clinic
The Pregnancy Care Clinic began operation in Oak Harbor in September 1986 as the Crisis Pregnancy Center of Whidbey Island. It was established to provide loving care in tangible ways for single women or families facing unplanned pregnancy.

The Clinic now has offices in two locations: Oak Harbor on Whidbey Island and Anacortes on Fidalgo Island.

PCC is a non-profit, non-denominational organization, funded by individuals, churches, business, organizations and fund-raising events. PCC is an agency for the community funded by the community. No tax money is sought or accepted.

The Clinic is governed by a local Board of Directors. A Medical Director oversees the medical services. Staff members provide oversight and training of volunteers, who are the backbone of this agency.

PCC is affiliated with the National Institute of Family and Life Advocates (NIFLA) and Heartbeat International. These two agencies provide a complement of services to pregnancy centers around the world. These services make available: Training materials, legal helps, consultations, updates on other centers and supportive actions.

Our Purpose
The purpose of the Pregnancy Care Clinic is to help pregnant women who are in a state of crisis to understand and work through the alternatives so that they may make informed decisions concerning the outcome of their pregnancy. For the women who decide to carry their babies to term, the clinic will provide emergency aid in whatever form is available and needed.
